The City of Phoenix invites sealed offers for Cathodic Protection Inspection and Testing Services for a 3-year term with two single year (1) options to extend commencing on or about August 1, 2024, in accordance with the specifications and provisions contained herein or the "Effective Date" which is upon award by City Council, conditioned upon signature and recording by the City Clerk's department, as required by the Phoenix City Code, whichever is later. There are various cathodic protection systems serving the facilities within the City of Phoenix Water Services Department, Water Distribution and Water Production Divisions. It is essential that the cathodic protection systems are inspected and maintained on regular basis to extend the service life of the facilities and to prevent service disruption. A testing/inspection/maintenance program is necessary to assess and maintain those cathodic protection systems, to make sure that they function appropriately and to prevent deterioration over time. The awarded Contractor(s) may be requested to assist the City with developing a program that may include existing system assessment, data management, staff training and repair services for the catholic protection systems listed below. 1.3.
