City of Pasco (City) is soliciting Quotes from Vendors to provide new Cat & Dog Kennels for the new Tri-Cities Animal Control Facility (Animal Shelter) located at: 1311 South 18th Avenue via this Request for Quote (RFQ). The new Animal Shelter is a 9,651 square foot (plus equipment platform) one-story, pre-engineered metal building, animal control facility. The building site is approximately 2.51 acres in size, of which approximately 1.90 acres will be developed. Technical questions regarding the scope of this project should be put in writing and directed to both City Representatives listed in the Section titled: "Contact Name", no less than three (3) working days prior to the time that Quotes are due. Projects funded wholly or in part by Federal appropriations must comply with Code of Federal Regulations; 24 CFR 570.502, 24 CFR 85.36, 2 CFR 200. This location replaces the current facility that has served the Tri-Cities community for over fifty years and has reached the end of its usable life. The new facility is currently being constructed to bring in to operation an updated and modern facility to fill the growing animal control needs of the Tri-Cities region. A site visit will not be required to put forth a quote on this job. There are no specific plans or drawings for the kennels and condos. The intent is for commercial off the shelf types of kennels and cat condos.
