The project consists ofpaying for all labor, materials, transportation, tools, taxes, and equipment necessary for the furnishing and delivering of coagulant to Waimea Water Treatment Plant (on an as-needed basis), District of South Kohala, for the Department ofWater Supply, County ofHawai'i, State ofHawai'i. Upon registration, forms ofspecifications, instructions, terms and conditions, and proposal may be obtained from the Office of the Manager-Chief Engineer, through. Bidders that wish to qualify a coagulant for this bid that is not listed on the pre-qualified coagulant list shall submit an adequate sample ofthe coagulant and its specifications for testing and approval. Sample will be used in ajar test to confirm its compatibility with the raw water at the WWTP. Bidder shall contact Mr. William O'Neil, Waimea Water Service District Supervisor at (808) 887-3030, to coordinate delivery ofsample and specifications. Samples and specifications shall be delivered to 65-1234 Opelo Road, Kamuela, Hawai'i, 96743. Bidders may also be present to witness their sample jar test Samples and specifications for testing MUST be received by April 11,2024, three (3) weeks prior to the date scheduled for the opening of bids. The Department ofWater Supply reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, and to waive informalities.
