Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Roxbury Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project includes the removal of existing concrete sidewalk and curb and furnishing and installing new concrete sidewalk, handicap access ramps complete with detectable warning surfaces and concrete and granite block curbing at thirtyseven (37) locations throughout the Township of Roxbury. Restoration of disturbed grassed areas and roadway gutter line are included in the project scope. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the Township of Roxbury, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of 10 percent of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond for 100% of the contracted amount. The successful Bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond and Payment Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and listed in OMB Circular 570. Funding for this project is provided by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to the County of Morris. Therefore, the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis Bacon Wage Rates and reporting will apply. In all cases, the stricter of the Federal labor laws, when applicable, or New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce standards (including NJ Prevailing Wage Act NJAC 34:11-56.25 et seq., for public works projects) will apply. Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, sex, affectional or sexual orientation. Small, Minority and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. The Township of Roxbury reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the proposal which is in the best interest of the Township.
