Reference Number 0000347065 Question Deadline 04/08/2024 Questions are submitted online No, All questions for this bid should be submitted via email to bkench@mt-pleasant.org The City is soliciting bids to provide maintenance on 653 linear feet of masonry screen wall that runs along the south and east property lines on the Public Safety Building site. The wall is made up of standard eight-inch concrete masonry with an average height of six. The updates include standard tuck pointing, removing/replacing control joint material, saw-cutting vertical joints in a couple of areas where cracking has occurred. Adjusting the metal top cap and adding fasteners, along with applying two coats of sealer. Dymonic (Tremco) 100 DS or equal shall be used for reconstructing the control joints. Solargard Hy-Build (Tremco) or equal shall be used to re-coat the City side of the wall. Hydroshed (Tremco) or equal shall be used to treat the east and south side of the wall. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank cashier's check, bank draft, or certified check for less than five percent (5%) of the bid price, made payable to the City of Mt. Pleasant. The City of Mt. Pleasant reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids, and to select the bid considered most advantageous to the city.
