MURAL AND WALL RESTORATION SERVICES AT SCHOOL #019 NATIVE AMERICAN MAGNET – RE-BID The Buffalo Public Schools, in collaboration with the Native American Parent and Student Committee (NAPSC), invites qualified artists to submit proposals for the restoration services of culturally-specific Native American murals at School 19, Native American Magnet School. SCOPE OF WORK We are seeking proposal for the restoration of culturally significant Native American murals. The murals hold great historical and artistic importance to our community, and we are committed to ensuring their preservation for future generations. As part of our commitment to cultural authenticity and inclusivity, individuals from Native American descent are strongly encouraged to apply. We believe that their unique perspectives and expertise will greatly contribute to the sensitive restoration of this important cultural artifact. Interested parties are invited to submit proposals outlining their restoration approach, experience, and relevant qualifications.The project involves the restoration of cultural-specific Native American murals located within the corridors of School 19. The existing corridor walls consist of 8" concrete block with metal lath and plaster. Many instances the plaster is cracking and will require repair prior to the mural restoration.
