Description Phase 2 Sitework for Auxiliary Parking Lot. Contractors are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Price. Performance Bond and Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract Sum will be required prior to executing the Construction Contract. Failure to submit the Bid Bond with the Bid may be cause for rejection. Refer to other Bidding requirements describes in Specification Section 002133 Instructions to Bidders. All questions during the bid phase shall be in writing and directed to Paul Mays, at Butler Rowland Mays Architects, LLP at maysp@brmarchitects.com. A Request for Clarification of Bid Documents form is provided in the Instructions to Bidders Section 002133. Bid offers will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after submission. The Owner expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids submitted in response to this bid solicitation and/or to accept any portion of said bid and reject the balance. CONTRACT TIME Time is of the essence. Work shall commence immediately upon Notice to Proceed, with substantial completion before July 3, 2024, as noted included in specifications, Section 011000 Summary.
