The Project consists of The project shall include procurement and installation of swimming pool mechanical system improvement; including but not limited to: New Hair and Lint Strainers, New Pumps and Motors, New Heater, New High-Rate Glass Media Filter Tanks, New Piping, and Pipe Supports, New Electrical Panel, New Variable Frequency Drive, and all associated components. All inquiries and questions should be emailed to: Project Manager Contact: Diane Hardy Email: hard@haywardrec.org Phone: 510-453-9970 Statement of Scope: The project shall include procurement and installation of swimming pool mechanical system improvement; including but not limited to: New Hair and Lint Strainers, New Pumps and Motors, New Heater, New High-Rate Glass Media Filter Tanks, New Piping, and Pipe Supports, New Electrical Panel, New Variable Frequency Drive, and all associated components. Preconstruction: Shall include, but is not limited to, verifying field conditions, development of shop drawings, and product specifications for submittal. 1. Shop drawing and product submittals shall be provided to the District for review and approval. Permitting: The Contractor will submit and obtain all applicable permits and fees as required. This includes but is not limited to: 1. Preparing and submitting applications consisting of construction plans, shop drawings, submittals and all required exhibits and calculations. 2. Contractor shall revise and resubmit plans and other items in the application packet in response to all agency comments. Construction: Shall include, but is not limited to, construction, labor, materials, equipment, furnishings, tools, construction equipment and machinery, utilities, transportation, inspections, testing as well as the following: 1. Providing product submittals to the District for review and approval. 2. Procurement, fabrication and delivery of equipment, piping, components and devices for a complete system 3. Facilitate construction progress meetings. 4. Completion of punch list. Close-Out: 1. Meet with District to review project operation and maintenance requirements 2. Train District personnel on the use, maintenance and troubleshooting requirements. 3. Provide close-out materials including equipment manuals, project documentation, and equipment parts. 4. Contractor shall be responsible for closure of all applicable permits. Question Deadline 04/12/2024 at 5:00 PM PT All inquiries and questions should be submitted via email to: Diane Hardy, hard@haywardrec.org Each bid must include the name and location of the place of business of each subcontractor who shall perform/work of this Contract in excess of one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) of the bid price. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening for bids except as provided pursuant to Public Contract Code Sections 5100 et seq. The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on: The base bid amount only. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Scope: The work shall include, but not limited to, all materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete the Project as set forth in Appendix A - Scope of Work. This shall include but is not limited to management, supervision, surveying, verifying field conditions, construction, labor, materials, equipment, furnishings, tools, construction equipment and machinery, utilities, transportation, inspections, testing, QA/QC, permits, plumbing, electrical panel and connections, testing of the installed system, and all other services as required to deliver fully functional pool equipment systems.
