Renovation of a municipal facility in Swanzey, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This project can be worked on 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. - Remove chimney to below roof sheathing. - Remove existing roofing, sheathing, rafters, ceiling and collar ties. Replace with manufactured attic storage type trusses allowing for in kind geometry and overhang details. (Creating some modest future mechanical space.) Trusses have an estimated 17.3-degree pitch. - 5/8" sheathing. - Replace, prep and paint all exterior gable siding, trim and soffits with original if easily salvaged or new in kind or any combination thereof. - Install 30-year architectural shingle. Color TBD. Please include an add alt for standing seam roof. - Re-wire ceiling lighting. - Sheetrock, tape and paint ceiling. - Insulate with dense pack cellulose or equal. - All labor and mechanical requirements by contractor. - Keeping the area around the exterior of the work site clean and free of hazards is an absolute must. Dumpsters to be provided by the Town of Swanzey. - All work to be completed by December 31, 2024, Note: No work to take place from 7/3 - 7/8 The Town of Swanzey reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or accept the proposal the Town deems to be in its best interest, regardless of the lowest proposal amount All work to be completed by December 31, 2024 Any questions regarding this project should be directed to Norm Skantze 603-393-0021
