Site work and paving for a road / highway in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The improvement includes furnishing labor, equipment, and materials for the removal of existing Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement and surfacing materials by milling/scarifying to an average depth of four (4) inches, prepare subgrade/subbase, reconstruct streets with four (4) inches of HMA pavement with two (2) lifts, all in accordance with the contract documents at the following locations and other locations as directed by the City Engineer in the City of Des Moines, Iowa: S.E. 38th Street from County Line Road to E. Pine Avenue E. Washington Avenue from E. 22nd Street to Lay Street Maury Street from S.E. 30th Street to dead end east. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $450,000.00 Preletting Conference. None. The City of Des Moines is pleased to provide accommodations to individuals with disabilities or groups and encourages participation in City government. To better serve you, please notify us at least three business days in advance when possible at 515-283-4209, should special accommodations be required. This project shall be fully completed not later than September 15, 2024, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
