In November 2022, a fire significantly damaged the fabric of the MRCT Residual Materials Transfer Center located at 641, route 391 in St-Edouard-de-Fabre. A mini-dome was temporarily installed in the Transfer Center to store recyclable materials. Although the insurance companies (engineer and chemist) who evaluated the structure of the dome estimated that a simple cleaning with water would resolve the problem. problem of acid smoke on the structure, the MRCT decided to opt for a new construction and with a steel structure, instead of a canvas dome. Duration of work: 20 days
