Lee County Department of Transportation is seeking to execute a single source for reinforced concrete culvert pipes formed with the molds from Rinker Materials' previous design which are the standardized culvert pipe throughout Lee County. The description of services intended for purchase from a single source is posted in accordance with section 3.9, Procurement Ordinance 23-21 and will be posted for a minimum of 15 business day. Foley Products Company bought Rinker Materials and the molds of its concrete culvert pipe. These molds are crucial to the installation of culvert pipe throughout Lee County. Rinker Materials changed their design, and the new design does not match up to the existing culvert pipe installed.
