Renovation of a residential development in Southampton, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
To remove the existing slate, asphalt and lead coated copper roofs and install a new slated roof only where the old slate exists. As well, installing asphalt shingles where the existing asphalt is, replacing the lead coated copper with asphalt shingles. Must provide a certificate of insurance and worker compensation. To remove the existing slate roof and install a new slate roof. Tear off all existing slate roofing shingles to sheathing. Remove all debris. Replace any rotten wood. Supply and install ICE AND WATER SHIELD TO ENTIRE ROOFING DECK. Supply and install GENUINE SLATE MISC VERMONT SEMI-WEATHERING GRAY ROOFING SLATE 18"X11"X1/4"-3/8" STARTER. Supply and install GENUINE SLATE VERMONT SEMI-WEATHERING GRAY ROOFING SLATE 18"X10"X1/4"-3/8" at 7" EXPOSED TO WEATHER. Supply and install VERMONT SEMI-WEATHERING GRAY ROOFING SLATE 16"X8"X1/4"-3/8" HIP/RIDGE. Supply and install COPPER SLATE HOOK TO ALL SLATE SHINGLES. WASTE: Must clean up and remove all waste materials. Final Inspection conducted by Superintendent, DPW. WARRANTY: Must provide a 10-year workmanship warranty at completion of installation.
