Flat Shoals Parkway (SR 155) Sidewalk from Columbia Drive to Wesley Chapel Road. The project includes adding new sidewalk on both sides of Flat Shoals Parkway (SR 155) to create continuous sidewalk on both sides of SR 155 from Columbia Drive to Wesley Chapel Road. Existing sidewalk will be upgraded, where needed, to meet current ADA standards. The project will also include a new protected pedestrian crossing in the vicinity of Flat Shoals Park. The total length of the project is 2.1 miles. The consultant will provide all preliminary engineering design services based on the Georgia Department of Transportation's Plan Development Process (PDP) or concept reports thru final design. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify potential providers for the Scope of Services for the project/contract listed in Exhibit I. Firms that respond to this RFQ and are determined by DeKalb County to be sufficiently qualified, may be deemed eligible, and invited to offer a technical approach and/or possibly present and/or interview for these services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to instructions communicated in this document, and are cautioned to completely review the entire RFQ and follow instructions carefully. DeKalb County reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications or Technical Approach, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of DeKalb County. DeKalb County anticipates one (1) Multi-Phase, Project Specific contract to be awarded to one (1) firm, for the project/contract identified. DeKalb County anticipates that the Payment Type may be Lump Sum, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost per Unit of Work or Specific Rate of Compensation. As a Project Specific contract, it is the County's intention that the Agreement will remain in effect until successful completion of the preliminary engineering phase of the project, and may choose to utilize the selected consultant for use on construction revisions as necessary for up to a maximum contract term of five (5) years.
