A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. This Design-Bid-Build contract will consist of a major military construction (MILCON) funded project to build a fire station at Youngstown Air Reserve Station located in Vienna, Ohio. The project includes construction of a 24,500 square foot, one-story facility including the foundation, floor slab, frame, roof, facade, stud and interior walls, interior finishes, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical and communications systems. The facility will include drive through bays sized to current Aircraft Rescue and Fire fighting vehicle requirements and a sleep space sized to accommodate 22 beds. The project will further include paved parking and accessway, signage, lighting, and all necessary support work. Demolition of the existing fire station, Building 415, a 9,365 square foot facility, is also required. Contract duration is estimated at 600 calendar days. The estimated cost range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. NAICS code is 236220. References may be used to verify project size, scope, dollar value, percentages, and quality of performance. Example projects must be of similar size and scope. a.
