Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority (Metro) is requesting bids from qualified firms to install a backup generator and concrete pad at our Quincy Street Station location at 820 SE Quincy Street in Topeka, Kansas. Metro currently does not have a back-up generator to protect against power outages. Metro would like to purchase and install a 100-Kilowatt at 120/208 Volts, 3PH, wye connected, natural-gas powered back-up power generator, automatic transfer switch at 400 amps, concrete pad for the generator to sit on, piping to connect to a natural gas source, any and all electrical conduit, wiring, and testing to make the generator operational.
