Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work for this tender has been broken into two phases. The major work items per phase include: o Phase A - Leason's #1 (Bridge 214-46-22N #1 - Station 0+320 to 0+425) o Demolition and disposal of an existing single span timber bridge with timber deck including removal of piles to 1.5 m below grade. The timber stringers shall be salvaged and turned over to the Owner; o Installation of new bridge structure o Phase B - Leason's #2 (Bridge 214-46-22N #2 - Station 0+125 to 0+320) o Demolition and disposal of an existing single span timber bridge with timber deck including removal of piles to 1.5 m below grade. The timber stringers shall be salvaged and turned over to the Owner. o Installation and backfill of two new 1400 mm diameter (2.8 mm W.T.) by 28 m long galvanized CSP culverts on a 30-degree skew.
