Renovation of a municipal facility in Ludlow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 17,456-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.

As of June 11, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. A. The scope of work without limiting the generality thereof includes the furnishing and installing of the following items of work and related items incidental thereto, shown on Drawings, and as herein specified B. The following schedule is part, but not necessarily all inclusive of the items in this section of the contract. 1. Furnish and install new cold and hot water piping for domestic use in building to new fixtures as indicated on plans. 2. Furnish and install complete soil, waste and vent piping in building to all new fixtures as indicated on plans. 3. Furnish and install water, waste, vents and other equipment which are furnished under other section of specifications, and make all final connections. 4. Insulate all domestic water piping. (thickness: 1/2 on cold water and 1 on hot water) 5. Furnish and install all fixtures and trim as specified or called for on plans. 6. Insulate all exposed water and waste piping below handicap lavatories in accordance with ADA requirements. 7. Furnish and install point-of-use mixing valves on all new lavatories for hot water temperature control. 7. Work included in this section as shown on Plumbing Drawings and including all Architectural Plans, Structural, Heating and Air Conditioning, Fire Protection and Electrical Plans. 8. Demolition as indicated on plans. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 04/10/2024 at 2:00PM EDT for filed sub-bids and by 04/22/2024 at 2:00PM EDT for general bids Roof replacement with various improvements that include expanding and renovating restrooms & counters and installing door actuators. General bidders must be DCAMM certified in General Building Construction. Estimated Cost $750,000 The Town of Ludlow reserves the right to reject any and or all bids. The Project consists of but not limited to: Stripping and replacing the existing asphalt shingle roof, repairing the existing cupola, and expanding/renovating the existing restrooms and service counters to make them accessible.
