Site work and paving for a road / highway in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of May 15, 2024 this ptoject was awarded to Rock Road Co. Inc. with the awarded amount of $1,768,622.75 Bids will be accepted until the specified opening time and date. Any bidder attempting to deliver after the opening time and date will be refused. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked with the name of the bid, and the bid number. Each bidder shall submit with his bid the information specified in the bid documents for compliance with the laws of the State of Illinois on Fair Employment Practices and with the City of Rockford's Ordinance on Equal Employment and Business Opportunity. Any bid which fails to include the compliance items properly completed will not be read and will not be considered. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The City of Rockford reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. Last day for questions is April 10, 2024 at 12:00 pm.
