Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sidney, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Estimate of Probable Cost: $70,000 The project consists of the replacement of existing raw water pump #4 with a new water pump per specifications contained within the online Bidding Documents. A pre-bid meeting is NOT scheduled. Any and all questions regarding the referenced project must be submitted through electronically website no later than 1 :00 p.m. (EST) on Monday, April 8, 2024. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio for Building Construction. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Sidney reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the bidder deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Sidney. Furnish new submersible pump for installation by the City of Sidney New pump and motor to meet specifications of the current pump and motor. The new pump shall fit into the existing wet well without any need for entry to make piping or seating adjustments. The complete installation shall be free from excessive vibration, cavitation, noise and oil or water leaks. Operation & Maintenance manuals shall be provided to the Owner. Equipment warranty shall be provided for a period of 1 year commencing on the date that the equipment is placed into use
