Renovation of a mixed-use development in Rome, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
NYSSD is requesting quotes/bids for our Building 9 Roof Replacement project. This project will be to remove and dispose of the existing copper roof down to the deck; supply & install high temperature ice and water shield; supply & install a new 24 gauge, 1 1/2" double lock 1300 standing seam metal roofing system in standard color; supply & install new drip edge; flash chimney; all metal trim and flashings to be 24 gauge. Quote/Bid pricing must include all costs for manlift rentals to complete work, safety for roofing technicians and site, and all necessary permits to complete the project. Contract term: 1 Year County(ies): All NYS counties Location: NYS School for the Deaf, 401 Turin Street, Rome, NY 13440 There are no plans/specs interested vendors will need to set up a site visit to look at the building’s roof. Per owner all bids were rejected, and this project will re-bid at a future time and date TBD. As of September 23, 2025, this project has not yet moved forward. There is no new bidding or construction timeline established.
