Description: 2700 SY of Bituminous Removal 1210 LF of Concrete Curb and Gutter 1300 CY of Common Excavation 510 LF of PVC Sanitary Sewer 600 TONS of Bituminous Pavement 650 LF of PVC Watermain 460 CY of Aggregate Base, Class 5 (CV) 52 LF of 18" Concrete Storm Sewer This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, Truck Rentals, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goals, Targeted Group Business Program Goals, and Veteran-Owned Small Business, Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, Buy American Iron and Steel Provisions, and Responsible Contractor Certification. A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Staples shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Question Deadline 04/11/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing to the Issuing Office.
