The School System representative for the purpose of this request is Ryan Traylor. Playgrounds for new elementary school The school property is 4809 Hamilton Road, LaGrange, Georgia. The school is scheduled to open this fall and playgrounds are expected to be functional for student use when the school opens August, 2024. The School System and company who is awarded the bid will work together in developing the dates for the scope of work. Scope of Work and Requirements: Purchase and equipment and installation. Total budget: $300,000.00 Bidders will field verify all square footage and area dimensions for playgrounds Quote will include borders and mulch.(Not rubber...wood based) Special Needs playground will have a rubber base provided and installed by Owner. Playground equipment will be installed prior to the rubber base by the Owner through the Contract Manager of the Rosemont project. There are three (3) separate playgrounds with the following specs. Playground 1 - Special Needs Area - 4 stations in the area Playground 2 - Bidder will field verify square footage and area dimensions, This area is for Grades Pre-K - 2,,,, approximates ages of 4 - 7, Child capacity: 70 to 80 students. Playground 3 - Bidder will field verify square footage and area dimensions, This area is for Grades 3 - 5...approximate ages 8 - 10, Child capacity: 70 to 80 students There is no commitment to accept any proposal; the school system budget will dictate the acceptance of the proposal for contract. The superintendent or designee reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities.
