The Sludge Lagoon is Located Approximately Two Miles Away From the Wtp and is Situated Adjacent to the Charlotteburg Reservoir. The Project Includes the Removal of Filter Media/sludge Material From the Backwash Holding and Decant Tanks at the Pequannock Water Treatment Plant, Which Will Be Performed on a Quarterly Basis. The Project Includes on-call Services for the Removal and Disposal of Sludge From the Pequannock Water Treatment Plant. The Project Includes the Hauling and Disposal of Dewatered Sludge Cake From the Pequannock Residuals Treatment Facility, Which Will Be Performed on a Weekly Basis. Each Bid Shall Be Submitted in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders and Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Security in the Form of a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or a Certified Check Made Payable to the City of Newark in an Amount Equal to 10% of the Amount of the Total Bid, but Not Exceeding $20,000. No Bidder May Withdraw His/her Bid for a Period of Sixty (60) Calendar Days After the Actual Date of the Opening of the Bids, Except for Reasons Covered Under N.j.s.a. 40a:11-23.3.
