Broward County Solid Waste and Recycling Services (SWRS) is in need of a centrifugal process wastewater pump located at the Broward County Landfill 7101 SW 205th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33332. Removal of existing pump and installation of new pump is required. The County reserves the right to amend this solicitation prior to the deadline for Vendor responses by issuing written addenda to the solicitation. If, upon review, a Vendor finds a nonclerical error in an addendum, that Vendor must contact the Purchasing Division immediately, prior to opening date, to allow the County to review the alleged error and to issue any clarification, if the County determines that a clarification is necessary. Vendors are responsible for obtaining and reviewing each addendum prior to the deadline for submission of responses to the solicitation. Below are the specifications and requirements for the pump and job completion. Pricing for pump should be all inclusive of delivery and fees. Total labor hours should be provided separately. Pump Specifications Install new wastewater pump with 4" and 3" suction/discharge. Size 3 x 4 x 8 (100 gpm), 60 psi Flanges, right hand (cw) rotation, flexible Coupled to a 20 hp, 3600 rpm, 3 phase, 60hz, 230/460-volt motor. Provide field service personnel and all equipment and material required to: Remove existing wastewater pump, motor, coupling and properly dispose, chip away and remove existing grout base. Prepare area for installation of new above-described pump, furnish and install new 4" suction strainer, furnish and install new nema rated contactors for new 20 hp motor. Furnish and install new heavy-duty breaker up to 60 amps, furnish and install new electrical line for pump. Install new 120-volt line for solenoid valve and flush line to be supplied directly from existing control panel. Furnish and install 4"suction manifold to include 4" flanges, pipe and needed materials. Furnish and install 4" heavy duty plug valve, furnish and install flo-e-centric plug valve with 2"awwa operating nut model 54-4 - ansi b16.1, class 150 ductile iron body astm a53665-45-12, epoxy coated, buna-n plug, v-type packing, selflubricating type 316 stainless steel thrust bearing, 4" flange gaskets with new stainless steel hardware, 3" discharge line including flange, elbow and required piping, all plumbing required to install new pump with 4" and 3" suction/discharge. Tighten all bolts to factory specs, start-up system and check for proper operation
