**As of May 22, 2024 , this project has been cancelled due to over budget, this project will rebid but no definite date for the rebid.** The West Virginia Department of Administration, General Services Division is soliciting bids to establish a contract for the following: Replacement of existing Daiken Model REYQ144PBTJ heat pump condenser, per exhibit C "Submittal Data Sheet." The Vendor shall furnish all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete all Construction Services. The Vendor shall furnish any incidental work, materials, labor, and equipment that are necessary to complete the Construction Services, even if such incidental work is not explicitly included in the Project Plans. Pursuant to the requirements contained in W. Va. Code 5-22-1(c), All Vendors submitting a bid on a construction project shall furnish a valid bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid protecting the State of West Virginia. Question Deadline 04/02/2024 at 12:00 PM ET PERFORMANCE BOND: The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract. The performance bond must be received by the Agency prior to Contract award. LABOR/MATERIAL PAYMENT BOND: The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a labor/material payment bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract value. The labor/material payment bond must be delivered to the Agency prior to Contract award MAINTENANCE BOND: The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a two (2) year maintenance bond covering the roofing system if the work impacts an existing roof. The amount of the bond must be equal to the price associated with the percentage of the project impacting the roof. The maintenance bond must be issued and delivered to the Purchasing Division prior to Contract award. The Purchasing Division Director reserves the right to reject the bid of any vendor as Non-Responsible in accordance with W. Va. Code of State Rules 148- 1-5.3, when the Director determines that the vendor submitting the bid does not have the capability to fully perform, or lacks the integrity and reliability to assure good-faith performance."
