AJSHS/PTE Parking Lots and Driveways STATEMENT OF PURPOSE A. Algonac Community Schools (ACS) is requesting bids from qualified vendors for concrete slabs, areas of new asphalt, areas of asphalt replacement and repair/patch, crackseal, sealcoat and restripe of existing asphalt of the Algonac Jr/Sr High School and Pointe Tremble Elementary parking lots and driveway areas. Campus is located at 5200 Taft Rd and 9541 Phelps Rd, Algonac MI 48001. B. ACS is located in southeastern Michigan at the north end of Lake St. Clair. ACS services the city of Algonac as well as Clay and IRA townships. ACS has approximately 1500 students, 170 professional staff and 4 USAC E-Rate eligible buildings utilizing broadband internet access. C. This RFP has been published for the purpose of soliciting proposals for the aforementioned equipment and is considered confidential. No portion of this RFP may be used, reproduced, or disclosed. D. Although cost must be considered, other factors will influence the awarded vendor. Product availability, voluntary alternates, product life cycle, warranty, etc. will all be considered. E. The School District will issue purchase orders for the project. Bidder, if awarded a contract, agrees to begin the process immediately following receipt of an "Algonac Community Schools Purchase Order Form" and will fully complete work in accordance with the Bid Proposal Form and/or agreed upon schedule. If a vendor proposes a specific contract be used, it must be included with the proposal submission. F. It is the responsibility of the bidder to be familiar with the District’s facilities and adhere to any county consortium agreements and services. G. The bidder must clearly identify all costs and fees associated with their proposed solution. Part II – Requirements Section I – Concrete Slabs Areas of Grey on Area Markup Document ?
