This project consists of the removal & replacement of a Retaining Wall located on West 4th Street & Fargo Creek in the City of Dixon, Illinois. (between the blocks of Madison Ave & Highland Ave on West 4th Street). Retaining Wall removal & replacement with a Modular Block Retaining Wall. Also removal & replacement of a PCC Concrete Driveway and Restoration earthwork & seeding. Site Directions: Fargo Creek - Located on the North Side of West 4th Street in Dixon, IL. Pre-Bid Meeting Info: Scheduled Prior to start of construction. Est. Completion Date: Sept. 27, 2024 Description. This work shall consist of furnishing, placing, and compacting granular material on a prepared subgrade and one or more course of aggregate on a prepared subbase.This work shall consist of the excavation and transportation of suitable excavated material to embankment locations throughout the limits of the contract and the excavation, transportation, and disposal of excavated material that will not be used as embankment. Excavated material as defined in this section shall be any and all earth, gravel/aggregate/sand, brick/masonry, asphalt, and concrete (with or without reinforcement). Excavated material does not include rock or unstable, unsuitable, or organic matter.
