As of April 12, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 16, 2024. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of this bid is to include all materials, labor, and equipment required to perform work described within this request for proposal to remove the existing plaza in its entirety as described and to install a new 24' x 30' x 10' Pavilion with a 4:12 roof and the associated site, concrete, masonry, and electrical work on the campus of Frontier Community College as scheduled within this document. The proposal shall include all required engineering/design/professional stamped documents as noted within this request for proposal. All work shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local codes. The contractor shall provide all safeguards, safety devices, protective equipment, and shall take any other actions reasonably necessary to protect the life and health of persons working at the site of the project, the safety of the public, and to protect property in connection with the performance of the work covered by the contract. See attached project location maps, scope narrative, existing pictures, specifications, and drawings associated with the scope of this project. Facsimile Bids Will Not Be Accepted Under Any Circumstances. No decision will be reached until the monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees, which will be held April 16, 2024. The Board of Trustees, Illinois Eastern Community Colleges, reserves the right to waive any technicalities or irregularities and also to reject any or all proposals. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or waive informality or errors in bidding, to award the contract to his interests, and to hold the bids for a period of thirty (30) days from the bid date. Performing a site visit is not a requirement of submitting a bid proposal, but it is the responsibility of the contractor to field verify measurements of the installation areas as well as to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary for the complete project.
