Renovation of a municipal facility in Highland, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

**As of May 21, 2024, the project was awarded to Rainbow Painting Company in the amount of $21,540.** General Scope of Work: Contractor Shall Furnish All Labor, Tools, Materials, Supplies, and Equipment Necessary to Perform and Complete the Project. The Project is More Fully Described as Follows: Prepare and Paint All Exterior Surfaces Including Stucco, Stucco Foam Details, Painted Metals, Handrails and Guardrails, Wrought Iron at Break Area (Sw Corner of Building), Downspouts, Metal Flashings, Wood Canopies and Trellises, Trash Enclosure and Gates. Stucco Crack Fill and Repair Foam Details Where Damaged (at Rear of Building Near Metal Coping) Prior to Painting. Work not included: New metal roof parapet coping, new roof edge metal, roof tiles, Aluminum storefront metals and doors, bicycle racks, perimeter site fencing, cellular tower enclosure, parking lot and curb paint. Special Work Hours: This work will need to be performed during off hours when there could be overspray of paint or debris from power washing that could impact parked vehicles or pedestrians. The city is closed every other Friday and this work can be performed on the off Friday (two times per month) as well as Saturdays. Brushing and Rolling work and prep work that will not impact adjacent pedestrians or vehicles may be done during regular work hours. Project Completion date: May 31, 2024. Required Contractor Information: at All Times During the Term of the Agreement, Contractor Shall Possess a Class C-33 California Contractor's License. Pursuant to the "California Business and Professions Code," Section 7028.15, the Contractor's License Number and Expiration Date Shall Be Set Forth in the Quote, and the Quote Shall Be Signed by the Contractor Declaring, Under Penalty of Perjury, That the Information Being Provided is True and Correct. In the Quote, Contractor Shall Also List: (a) the Name, the Location of the Place of Business; (B) Unless the Quote is for $25,000 or Less, the Dir Registration Number (See Section 1725.5 of the Labor Code); (C) Full Information Concerning Each Subcontractor Who Will Perform Work or Labor or Render Service to the Contractor or Who Will Specially Fabricate and Install a Portion of the Work or Improvement According to Detailed Drawings Contained in the Plans and Specifications, in an Amount in Excess of One-half of One Percent (1%) of the Contractor's Total Quote. The Contractor Shall Be Prohibited From Performing Work on This Project With a Subcontractor Who is Ineligible to Perform Work on the Project Pursuant to Section 1777.1 or 1777.7 of the Labor Code. If the Contract Amount is $25,000 or Less, the City Does Not Require a Payment Bond. The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all quotes, to withdraw this request at any time prior to any award, and to waive any irregularity in any quote or these procedures. The City shall not be liable for any costs incurred in preparing and submitting any quote.
