Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. No proposal will be accepted unless the Bidder shall furnish a bid bond or certified check in the amount of $25,000.00. Said check shall be made payable to the City of Hermitage. The bid bond or certified check is to be received with the bid. In the event the successful bidder fails to execute a contract within the designated time, said amount shall be forfeited. A Performance Bond in the amount of $500,000.00 shall be required at the time of the execution of the contract. The City of Hermitage reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Hermitage, and to reject any or all proposals. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be sent in writing to the City of Hermitage (FAX # 724-981-2008) and / or email (jcoxe@hermitage.net) Telephone inquiries are unacceptable.
