Reference Number 0000267284 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the collection, transportation and final disposal of Dewatering Cell Sludge from the WDWTP to the Brady Road Resource Management Facility (Brady Road Landfill). The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Manipulate Sludge to aid in the drying process to meet Landfill disposal criteria (b) Collection and stock piling of Sludge (c) Loading of haul trucks (d) Hauling and disposal to the Landfill The contractor shall provide all equipment and personnel required to collect, load, transport and dispose of the dewatering pond Sludge. The Contractor shall have applicable experience and abilities to carry out the work. Cell 3 was drained in the summer of 2023 and underdrains opened in the fall 2023. Sludge material will have gone through one freeze thaw cycle to aid in the release of interstitial water. While efforts have been made to dewater cell 3, the sludge maintains a high water content. The contractor shall be responsible to manipulate the material to facilitate the drying process. Material must to be absent of free draining water and meet minimum slump acceptable by the Landfill.
