This contract involves furnishing materials and special services associated with electrical substation equipment located in the existing ALCOSAN 13.8kV Substation. The material includes one (1) 23kV Switchgear line up to connect the new DLC-provided 23kV Ring Bus Switchgear to the new 23kV - 13.8kV power transformer, procured by ALCOSAN. It also includes (1) 13.8kV circuit breaker Switchgear unit for connection to the secondary side of the 23kV -13.8kV power transformer and will be used for connection of the Tunnel Boring Machine for the Ohio River Tunnel construction. The switchgear will provide both protection and controls. Installation of the is not part of this Contract. Procurement Contract Documents may be examined and obtained at the Engineering office of the Authority. Bid Security shall be furnished by providing with the Bid a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid Price. Procurement Contract Documents must be obtained directly from ALCOSAN to qualify as an eligible bidder.
