Deadline for Questions to be submitted................................................... 3:00 PM on April 9, 2024 Deadline for County's response to questions......................................... 5:00 PM on April 11, 2024 As guided by the County's Project Team ("Project Team"), Contractor shall provide designbuild services summarized and broken out into the following tasks as further detailed in this Attachment A: 1.1 Task 1 - Develop all technical specifications and drawings necessary for the demolition and removal of the existing patio deck and restoration of the building's exterior facade to match existing. 1.2 Task 2 - Design a relatively simple ground-level outdoor patio space and walkways with appropriate fixtures and amenities to take the place of the existing raised patio deck once it is removed. 1.3 Task 3 - Once a new patio design is approved by the Project Team, develop all technical specifications and drawings necessary for the construction of the new patio, walkways and overall site restoration. 1.4 Task 4 - Provide the County with detailed construction costs for the entire project for the County's consideration. 1.5 Task 5 - To the extent each project element is approved for implementation, remove the existing patio deck, restore the building facade, construct the new ground-level patio and walkways with fixtures and amenities, and restore the site to complete the project. If a Contractor wishes to see inside portions of the building adjacent to the patio deck and ground below, they must contact the County by 5:00 p.m. on 4/3/2024 to schedule access through: Keith Hamilton Assistant Director of Facilities Management (269) 673-0208 khamilton@allegancounty.org Contractor Inquiries - due by 3:00 p.m. on April 9, 2024. Should Contractor find any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts within the RFP packet, be in doubt about their meaning, or have any questions about the RFP process or the scope of work, they should bring such questions in writing to the attention of: Patti Wartella - Project Management Specialist Allegan County - County Services Building 3283 122nd Ave Allegan, MI 49010 projects@allegancounty.org 8.5 County Response - posted by 5:00 p.m. on April 11, 2024. The County will compile and review all questions received from contractors and post responses to the County website as an RFP Clarification. Clarifications modifying the Agreement or Scope of Work will be incorporated into the final Agreement. The County will not be responsible for any oral instructions It is the sole responsibility of contractor to ensure that the proposal reaches the County by the specified deadline. The County will not be holding a public bid opening and unless required, will not release any bid tabulations until all proposals have been evaluated, scored and a contract has been awarded.
