The Contractor will perform site inspections on PPS sites where potential cross connections and possible need for backflow prevention. The Contractor will perform site surveys as needed to verify existing information and look for unprotected cross-connections. The Contractor will perform annual compliance testing on identified backflow prevention devices. The Contractor will provide information periodically to PPS on the status of the connections and backflow equipment. All of the Contractor's work shall comply with applicable Local, State, Federal, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Health Department (HD) regulations. Site Inspections will include the following: a. Meet PPS representative and record contact information. b. Record principle use of property. c. Perform inspection of potable water connections of equipment, devices and appliances to identify that proper backflow prevention measures are in place. d. Identify and document backflow prevention devices not recorded by PPS. e. Identify and document potential cross connections, including but not limited to secondary sources of water. f. Identify and document potential backflow situations/cross-connections. g. It is the goal of PPS that 7 % of its purchases is made from minority and womenowned businesses enterprises (M/WBE) under this solicitation. This includes discretionary spending in prime contracts and subcontracts. All potential respondents are required to submit an M/WBE Subcontracting Plan to either disclose its intent to utilize subcontractors or its intent not to utilize subcontractors. All M/WBE forms must be completed and returned with the respondent's proposal. M/WBE Forms are listed in the Appendices and included as an Attachment (Forms can also be found in the M/WBE Program Policy referenced below). Information and instructions on completing the Forms are included in the M/WBE Program Policy The procurement agency reserves the right to cancel and terminate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty, upon 60 days written notice to the Contractor. In the event the initial contract period is for more than 12 months, the resulting contract may be terminated by either party, without penalty, after the initial 12 months of the contract period upon 60 days written notice to the other party. Any contract cancellation notice shall not relieve the Contractor of the obligation to deliver and/or perform on all outstanding orders issued prior to the effective date of cancellation. The School Board reserves the right to return incorrect invoices, including invoices not citing the purchase order number, to the Contractor for correction. Payment terms shall be net 30 days from receipt of goods and/or services of invoice, whichever is later
