As of September 18, 2024, construction is anticipated to begin in September 2024 and be completed in January 2025. The principal items or elements of construction include: o Approximately 4,200 linear feet (LF) of 24-inch diameter AWWA PVC C900 SDR25 sanitary sewer main along Norum Rd NE, Tuk Wil La Rd NE, Brauer Rd NE, Shore Dr NE, and Peterson Way NE o Isolation and cleaning of the existing sewer main and temporary sewer bypass pumping o Miscellaneous pipeline improvements including air vacuum valve assemblies and blow-off assemblies o All customers currently connected to the existing alignment will be transferred to the new sanitary sewer force main with small diameter HDPE force mains connecting to the existing Individual Pumping Stations (IPS) o Installation of a new pig launch vault o Connection to the existing Lemolo siphon Engineers Estimate: $6,328,600 Kitsap County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to the advertisement, Women and Minority Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award.
