Renovation of a municipal facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

**As of February, 2024 bids received were rejected as they were over the budget..** Work to be performed under this project includes but is not limited to General and HVAC air quality upgrades to existing public health facilities including ceiling repair, ductwork, terminal box, and AHU modifications. Questions regarding bids should be submitted to Alexis Holland, Purchasing Associate II, via email alexis.holland@gwinnettcounty.com no later than 3:00 P.M. local time, Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Bids are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted. Where Gwinnett County provides forms for bid or bond submissions, they must be used without exception. A five percent (5%) bid bond must be submitted with the bid. Successful contractor will be required to provide a one hundred percent (100%) payment and one hundred percent (100%) performance bond as well as an insurance certificate fulfilling requirements as stated in the bid documents. Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-5 or greater, be listed in the Federal Registry of Companies holding Certificate of Authority and acceptable sureties on Federal Bonds, be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to do business in the State of Georgia. Bidder agrees to complete the Contract awarded within the "allowable calendar days for completion" from the date of the "Notice to Proceed" and further agrees that the Owner may retain from the monies which may become due the amount of $1,500.00 per day for each and every day that the completion of the work may be delayed Gwinnett County does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or access to its programs or activities. Briefly and without force and effect on other requirements of the Contract Documents, the Project of the Contract can be described in summary as follows: The scope of this Project includes, but is not limited to, General and HVAC air quality upgrades to existing public health facilities including ceiling repair, installation of curtain track system and privacy curtain, drywall repair, roof repair for installation of new roof mounted exhaust fans, revised ductwork, removal and replacement of new ceiling diffusers, removal and replacement of terminal boxes, installation of UV lights, installation of bi-polar ionization units, installation of MERV 13 filters at PIU terminal boxes and MERV 15 bag filters at rooftop units , AHU and RTU modifications and associated electrical connections for power requirements. Refer to Drawings. B. Work Included: The intent and meaning of the Contract Documents is that the Contractor, under the General Conditions and other terms of the Contract, shall take all actions necessary and required to provide all labor, plant, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, facilities, and appurtenances which are indicated or implied by each drawing within the Drawings and each section of the Specifications, all of which are collectively necessary and required for the Work to be performed which includes but is not limited to general HVAC air quality upgrades to existing public health facilities including ceiling repair, installation of curtain track system and privacy curtain, drywall repair, roof repair for installation of new roof mounted exhaust fans, revised ductwork,, removal and replacement of new ceiling diffusers, removal and replacement of terminal boxes, installation of UV lights, installation of bi-polar ionization units, installation of MERV 13 filters at PIU terminal boxes and MERV 15 bag filters at rooftop units , AHU and RTU modifications and associated electrical connections for power requirements of the described Project
