Lake Hills Elementary School Boiler and Chiller Replacement. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Demo existing boilers and boiler appurtenances. 2. Demo existing chiller and chiller appurtenances. 3. Demo existing heating and chilled water pumps and appurtenances including VFD's. 4. Demo existing boiler and chiller controls. 5. Provide new boilers and appurtenances. 6. Provide new air cooled chiller and appurtenances. 7. Provide new heating and chilled water pumps and appurtenances including VFD's. 8. Provide chiller spring isolators and isolator base. 9. Provide chilled water buffer tank. 10. Provide DDC controls for boilers, chiller and pumps. 11. Electrical work to support boilers, chiller and pumps. 12. Structural work to support boilers, chiller and pumps. Bid Bond: A Bid Deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the base bid is required and must either be a surety bond, postal money order, cash, cashiers' check or certified check. Deposits of unsuccessful bidders will be returned; however, the three lowest will be held until after award of Contract Bid Deposit of successful bidder will be returned upon receipt and acceptance of completed Performance and Payment Bond, Certificate of Insurance, and signed Contract Agreement. Schedule: A. Start date: On or about June 19th, 2024. B. Boiler Substantial Completion: On or about August 23rd, 2024 (may be sooner based on contractor's schedule).C. Chiller Substantial Completion: On or about March 28th, 2025 (may be sooner based on contractor's schedule).
