Award amount is $5,846552.50** 2023 Brant Beach Sewer Main Replacement Project - New Jersey Environmental I-Bank Program The total project includes the following: Removal and replacement of approximately 8,705 LF of existing sanitary sewer pipe with 8-inch, 12-inch, 15-inch, and 18" PVC SDR 26 sanitary sewer pipe, removal and replacement of approximately 335 linear feet of sanitary sewer lateral including wyes, cleanouts and connection to existing lateral; removal and replacement of approximately 20 sanitary sewer manholes; remove and replace 20 new sanitary sewer drop manholes; removal and replacement of approximately 11,740 SY of initial pavement restoration, removal and replacement of approximately 32,005 SY of final pavement restoration and all required fittings, dewatering, restriping, traffic control and disturbed landscaping areas. The Bid Receipt Date will be at least 10 days after the advertisement date. Project award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder within 60 days of the bid opening. The successful lowest responsible Bidder must comply with all provisions of N.J.A.C.7:22-9.1 ET. SEQ., Rules and Regulations for Awarding Contracts for State Assisted Projects to Small Business Concerns Owned and Controlled by Economically Disadvantaged Individuals (included within). The successful lowest responsible Bidder shall comply with the project plan developed by the sponsor to fulfill SED utilization requirements, as defined in the Small Business Act 15 U.S.C. 637(a) and 637 (d), and any regulations promulgated pursuant thereto. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. This contract or subcontract is expected to be funded in part with funds from the "New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program" Project #S340023-10. Neither the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program nor any of their departments, agencies or employees is, or will be, a party to this contract or subcontract or any lower tier contract or subcontract. This contract or subcontract is subject to the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-3,4,5,9 and 10. SED requirements per N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(f): The recipient shall insert into the contracts, and shall ensure that their contractor(s) include within their subcontract(s), the following statement: "In accordance with the provisions of 58:11B-26, N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(a)24 and 4.17(a)24, the contractor (subcontractor) shall comply with all of the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9." A BID BOND drawn to the order of the Township of Long Beach in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Bid, but no more than $20,000.00, must be submitted with the proposal as BID SECURITY, pursuant to Local Public Contract Law (LPC) 40A:11-21. Surety Bonds must be written by Surety Companies listed on Department Circular 570 in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(g).
