New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (NYC Health + Hospitals) is the largest public health care system in the United States. NYC Health + Hospitals/Community Care offers comprehensive care management and better access to social support services in patients' homes and communities. NYC Health + Hospitals Office of Facilities Development (OFD) is seeking to engage up to eight (8) qualified firms to perform architectural, engineering and construction administration services on a requirements basis for various construction projects within the NYC Health + Hospitals' system. The projects to which these contracts will be dedicated are construction projects involving major or minor rehabilitation and/or replacement of any of the following: (1) facades, (2) roofs and/or roof- related assemblies, (3) windows and/or window assemblies, and (4) interior spaces that require work due to damage to, or deterioration of, facades, roofs and/or roof-related assemblies, or windows and/or window assemblies. The project specifics for which services are required shall be specified by the OFD on a Task Order basis. Such projects may be located in any of the five boroughs. It is anticipated that up to eight (8) contracts will be awarded pursuant to this Request for Proposals (RFP). In order to ensure that architectural services this RFP is seeking are performed in a timely manner for various projects, it is NYC Health + Hospitals' intention to have available several requirements contracts to be used on an as-needed basis. When the need arises for such services with respect to a specific project, OFD will issue a Task Order to the selected consultant subject to the terms of the contract(s) resulting from this procurement.. Each contract awarded shall be up to $16,250,000 but no amount of work is guaranteed to any awardee.
