Renovation of a military facility in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Only M&R MACC Contractors listed on the General Requirements cover page may submit a proposal for this ROICC Camp Lejeune area of responsibility project. See attached documents for scope of work and any applicable drawings. Title: Multiple BEQ Room Entry Door Lock Repairs-Phase II Contract Completion Date: 360 days after award Estimated Cost Range: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 Wage Determination: General Decision Number: NC20240010 01/05/2024 Liquidated Damages: $880 per Calendar Day/; Notes: One person may fill the roles of Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and Safety and Health Officer, if duly qualified for all three positions as defined in the project specification. Special Scheduling: The facility/activity will remain in operation during the entire construction period. The Contractor shall conduct his operations so as to cause the least possible interference with normal operations of the facility/activity. The furniture and other objects in the project area are to be moved by the contractor if required. Basis for Award: Lowest Price Proposal Acceptance Period: 60 days from receipt of offers Bond Requirements: Bid bonds are required in accordance with FAR 53.301-24. An electronic copy of your bid bond may be submitted with your proposal. Failure to submit a bid bond by the deadline will result in your proposal being removed from consideration. Payment and/or performance bond(s) will be requested at the time of award per the current process. o No bonds are required for proposals less than $40K. o Proposals valued at $40K and greater will require a payment bond only. o Proposals valued at $150K and greater will require a bid bond, a payment bond, and a performance bond. Requests for Information (RFIs): RFIs must be submitted to jessica.r.huebner.civ@us.navy.mil. The cut off for RFIs is April 15, 2024 by 3:00 PM EST in order to process all inquiries by the proposal due date. SCOPE OF WORK: This scope of work is to be accomplished multiple BEQ buildings located on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Contractor shall Provide the following: 1. Replace existing locksets on all living area doors with new swipe locks in 9 BEQ's. a. FC-62 b. FC-63 c. FC-64 d. HP117 e. HP118 f. HP119 g. HP255 h. HP265 i. HP485 (See attachment) 2. Bit list, Cores, and matching keys: four (4) ea., include Master-key, Grand master, subMaster key system. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall Provide the following: o New locksets to fit existing door openings. o Contractor shall provide new locksets per specifications. o All equipment and software to run, rekey, trouble shoot whole key and swipe lock system. o Provide training for operation of new Lock system. o All doors shall be able to be unlocked from front office via WIFI. o All required repair locations and quantities are in the attached "BEQ Lock Data Sheet". DETAILED REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Locks and Latches a. Bored Locks and Latches i. Provide in accordance with ANSI/BHMA A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 1. b. Exit Devices i. Provide in accordance with ANSI/BHMA A156.3, Grade 1. Provide adjustable strikes for rim type and vertical rod devices. c. Cylinders and Cores i. Provide cylinders and cores that are compatible with Best Locks M-Series (7) pin for new locks, including locks provided under other sections of this specification. Provide cylinders from the products of one manufacturer and provide cores from the products of one manufacturer. d. High Security Cylinders i. Provide in accordance with ANSI/BHMA A156.30, security level A for all high security cylind *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
