Project: Town of Jacksonport: Junction Road 2023 (Pulverize and Overlay) Pre-bid Meeting: There will be NO pre-Bid Meeting DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project is officially known as "Town of Jacksonport Road Projects 2024 (Pulverize and Overlay)". The project is described as pulverizing and repaving a portion of Junction Road located in the Town of Jacksonport. In general, work consists of the following: Base Bid - A. Junction Road - approximately 2,560 feet - pulverizing existing pavement 2.5" overlay in one lift, shouldering and restoration. B. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the: 1. Pulverization and reshaping of asphalt pavement 2. Placement and compaction of asphalt surface. 3. Placement of 3/4 " stone as shouldering. 4. Final Restoration of all disturbed areas. RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS: The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, the right to waive irregularities and informalities in bidding, the right to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional bids, and the right to accept the bid which best serves the interests of the Town.
