New construction of a multi-residential development in Cap-Aux-Meules, Quebec. Working plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade, 12-unit multi-residential development.
Residential project comprising of two buildings of 12 housing units each in the area of the Cap-aux-Meules eco-district, more precisely on part of lot number 6 570 583. The planned buildings include 8 housing units of 3 1/2 rooms (1 bedroom) and 4 units of 4 1/2 rooms (2 bedrooms) each. These buildings are designed in anticipation of adaptations or possible additions of spaces that could justify the evolving needs of the organization, the project in the eco-district and the clientele served. TIMELINE: Contract for architectural services to complete design and conduct construction surveillance was awarded following request for proposals # 20240328-1 (Reference number: 1830975). Contract for engineering services to complete design and monitor construction work was awarded following request for proposals # 20240403-1 (Reference number: 1832221). The estimated cost of work for the project is four million eight hundred thousand ($4,800,000) per building, or nine million six hundred thousand ($9,600,000) in total for the project comprising two (2) buildings. Design is complete. Project is pending funding. Further update in fall, 2026.
