Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Palm Desert, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

CVWD's Engineering Department is requesting formal proposals from Respondents to prepare final plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the Valley View Trunk Sewer Design (Project). The Project work scope includes utility research, survey, potholing, right-of-way research and acquisition of necessary pipeline easements, fee title and temporary construction easements (TCE) if applicable (including preparation of legal descriptions and plats), geotechnical services, identification of alternatives and preferred pipeline alignments, final design documents, specifications, cost estimates, and permits for: 1. Proposed offsite improvements include a new sewer lift station (750 gpm firm capacity), 1,250 linear feet of 6-inch forcemain, 14,200 linear feet of 8-inch and 1,420 linear feet of 10-inch diameter gravity sewer pipeline along portions of Soto Street, Airport Blvd. The 6-inch forcemain will connect to CVWD's existing 10-inch gravity sewer pipeline at the intersection of Grapefruit and Avenue 57. This system is expected to include 44 manholes. Please refer to the attached exhibit for the project limits. 2. A new sewage lift station would be constructed at the southwest parcel of Desert Cactus Drive and Avenue 57th. From there 1,250 linear feet of 6-inch diameter force main would be constructed to the connection point on Grapefruit Blvd and Avenue 57. The design effort needs to include onsite improvements and laterals needed to convey flows from Desert View Mobile Home Park, Magdaleno Lopez Mobile Home Park, Campos Mobile Home Park, Meza's Ranch, Rodriguez' Ranch, Villa De Josue Mobile Home Park. Valley View Mobile Home Park, Leon Housing, Durans Farms, Oscar Cruz Water System, Luciano Valenzuela, Vista Norte Estates, De Leon Ranch, and Soto Water to the offsite sewer main. Approximately 6,175 feet of onsite pipelines for these 14 mobile home park to connect to the offsite sewer system. Onsite improvements also includes abandonment of 28 septic tanks.
