Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris county, Texas (METRO) located at the Field Service Center (FSC) Facility is going away from "2BS" to "4BS" shelters. The "4BS" shelter is narrower allowing METRO to install shelters in areas with limited space to better serve the community. This scope of service covers the requirements for the contractor to convert and repair shelters at the contractor(s) place of business. 2. Material / Resources 2.1. The contractor shall furnish all the necessary labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and other item(s) needed to satisfy the requirements specified herein. 2.2. METRO will deliver "2BS" shelters to the contractor(s) facility to be converted into "4BS" shelters. 2.3. The contractor will convert the 2BS shelters, perform modifications, and repairs to deliver a "4BS" shelter to METRO. 2.4. METRO will collect the shelters once the services above have been completed. 2.5. The contractor shall return to METRO all useable and scrap shelter parts upon completion of conversion. 3. Replacement Shelter Parts 3.1. METRO shall inspect the shelters to be converted at the (FSC) facility and include any missing or damaged parts for the contractor to add or replace. 3.2. METRO shall identify where the missing or damaged parts shall be installed or replaced. 3.3. The contractor shall request any missing or damaged internal (not visible) shelter parts not provided at the time of delivery. 3.4.
