Renovation of a mixed-use development in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Electrical upgrades as part of the repair work for the Pump House structure. All Electrical equipment including all associated conductors, conduit boxes, etc. to be upgraded (removed and replaced) as well all the removal and replacement of all existing light fixtures. This is the first phase of the work for the pump house which will include the later phase of work to remove and replace the existing South and North East walls of the pump house due to extensive termite damage. This electrical panel services the existing irrigation system (to remain intact), and it is desired to have as short of time period with no electrical service to the irrigation as possible. Existing Electrical service not to be disconnected until new panel is ready to be activated, and minimum electrical service disruption is the goal. Quoters shall visit the site prior to submitting a Quote and include all costs associated with the project in their Quotes. This project is Tax Exempt. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation may be required. All Requests for Information (RFIs) and requests for substitutions shall be submitted in writing to the Project Manager no later than 3:00 PM, two (2) business days prior to the Quote submittal date. Responses shall be in the form of a written Addendum issued to all Contractors. Receipt of all addenda shall be acknowledged by the contractor on the Quote form. Failure to acknowledge Addenda may result in disqualification of the Quote. A Cashiers Check drawn on an Alabama bank or Bid Bond payable to Owner, City of Mobile, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00 is required to accompany Bids over $50,000. The Bid Security of the three lowest bidding Contractors shall be retained by the Owner until a contract is executed for the project.
