Renovation of a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Estimate value: Over 4M Architectural: 1. Provide openings in the roof to facilitate installation of HVAC duct work. 2. Provide dunnage for RTU. 3. Provide ceiling work in 5th floor rooms being served by new RTU. STRUCTURAL: 1. New dunnage and grating for RTU. 2. Cut existing roof slab for new opening. 3. Provide sub-framing for new opening. HVAC: 1. Replace existing fan ef-3a and auditorium blower fan 3 belt drives with new motors, v-belt drive, pulleys and sheaves. Contractor shall perform necessary alignment of pulleys, belts and motor shaft for proper operation. 2. Remove and replace existing exhaust fan EF-1A, EF-2A, EF-3G, T-1, T-2, and T-3 completely. 3. Provide interior cleaning for all exposed section of ductwork at cellar level per specification section 15922. 4. Refurbish existing unit ventilator components. Repair blower motors, starters, fan assemblies and electrical wiring to match existing conditions. Provide internal cleaning of all unit ventilators per specification section 15992 and testing in accordance with NYC B.C. 5. Remove and replace existing building's temperature control system to BACnet bms/ddc digital control / system with local network. 6. Remove existing exhaust fan ef-5g. Provide new single-zone variable air volume rooftop unit. Provide new supply and return ductwork from roof and distribute to converted fifth floor rooms ELECTRICAL: 1. Upgrade existing electrical service from 1200a fuses in the main service switch with 1600a. 2. Remove existing power connection along with all associated wiring, conduit and accessories for six (6) exhaust fans in the cellar level, two (2) exhaust fans in 5th floor and one (1) exhaust fan on the roof. Provide new power connection, wiring, conduit, local disconnect switches, VFD's and all required control equipment. 3. Remove existing power connection along with all associated wiring, conduit and accessories for roof RTU unit. Prove new power connection wiring, conduit, local disconnect switches, and all required control equipment. 4. Remove power connection along with all associated wiring, conduit and accessories for unit ventilators. Prove new power connection wiring, conduit, local disconnect switches, starters and all required control equipment. 5. Remove power connection for all pneumatic control equipment removed as a part of HVAC scope of work. Provide new power connection along with all required receptacles and all associated wiring, conduit for new PDP panels and BACnet rack. 6. Disconnect, remove and re-install existing lighting fixtures ON THE FIFTH FLOOR TO FACILITATE ARCHITECTURAL AND HVAC WORK. FIRE ALARM: 1. Replace existing fire alarm system with new manual and automatic fire alarm system in its entirety SCA system-generated category: $1,000,001 to $4,000,000
