**As of April 29, 2024, project was awarded to IDC Automatics, in the amount of $26,412.50.** Concrete patio and walkway Dakota County is seeking quotes for a concrete patio and walkway at the Spring Lake Park Reserve in Hastings. All work to be done at Spring Lake Park Reserve, located at, 8395 127th St. E. Hastings, MN 55033. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and permits to remove the existing flagstone patio and concrete walkway and install a new concrete patio and walkway at the listed address. All concrete will be poured using a 4,500-psi concrete mix. Re-bar will be installed in the new concrete using a grid pattern. If acceptable base materials are not present, contractor will sub cut and dispose of approximately 6" of the existing base material and provide an appropriate base material to reduce the potential for future frost heaving. Contractor will be responsible for all cleanup of the work site and surrounding landscape. The County does reserve the right to reject any quotes that are not in the County's best interest. Due to a busy rental facility near the work area, all onsite work must be pre-approved by a county representative. All work must be completed by July 1, 2024. Walkways Except for the panel embedded in the asphalt trail at the top of the walkway, remove all the existing walkway and re-install approximately 155 ft. of 5 ft. wide walkway and approximately 35 ft. of 3 ft. wide walkway. Concrete to be poured 4" thick, grey in color, and have a broom finish. Lower Patio Install new Concrete patio on lower "overlook" area. The lower patio will have a step poured to account for the steep slope of the site. The patio and step will be poured in a crescent shape to match the existing rock wall. Patio to be poured grey in color and have a broom finish. There will be an expansion joint material installed to give the edge of the patio a clean finish along the rocks.
