The Mow Down Program aims to mitigate, reduce, and prevent blight, illegal dumping, and high grass complaints for City-owned vacant properties. The mowing season runs from April through September/October as allowed by weather. The first cut and debris removal will be completed no later than Friday, May 3, 2024, and be maintained every 14 days. Parcels cannot be maintained any earlier than 14 days from the first cut. The City of Lorain reserves the right to reject any or all quotes.
