The estimated construction budget is expected to range between $350,000.00 and $450,000.00. The projected construction schedule has the project starting approximately May 20, 2024 and being substantially completed in October of 2024. Each bid must include a bid guaranty in the form of a bid guaranty and contract bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add Alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add Alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. This is a Federally funded project utilizing ARPA funds and therefore, all Federal regulations will apply. The work performed under this contract is also subject to Federal Labor Standards Provisions including the payment of prevailing wage rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. The contract delivery method will be Prime Contracts. Therefore, accepting bids for General and Civil Construction, Plumbing Construction, HVAC Construction and Electrical Construction. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the bid opening. The Tuscarawas County Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities in bids, reject any or all bids and conduct investigations to determine bidder responsibility. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
